RISCO Group WatchIN

Based on the award winning WatchOUT detector, the WatchIN is an Industrial Wall-Mount Dual Technology Grade 3 Detector with 2 PIR channels and 2 Microwave channels for detection.

It includes RISCO Group’s most advanced detection technologies: Sway Recognition Technology, Anti-Cloak™ Technology, Active Infrared for Anti-Mask and GreenLine Technology.

Suitability for extreme harsh industrial environments

WatchIN is especially well suited to extremely harsh industrial environments, such as production areas with operating machinery, contraction sites, shipyards and hangers, due to the following:

• Microwave Sway Recognition Technology for elimination false alarms from objects that move repetitively but don’t travel
• Rubber seal provides IP65 environment rating:
  • Allows installation in high humidity areas such as ocean swept hangers
  • Eliminates ingress of dust particles common in industrial sites
• Protective Optical Filters eliminate false alarms from headlights or sun rays reflected from metal objects in production or warehouse areas
• Operating temperature -30° to +60°C – suitable for extreme temperatures

Sway Recognition Technology

Sway detection technology uses 2 microwave channels for recognising and excluding objects that move repetitively but don’t travel, such as machinery parts or moving blinds.  Based on the Droppler effect 2 MW channels, Sway Recognition Technology differentiates between and subtracts the Droppler pulses of forward from backward moving targets, measuring the NET moving distance only.

IP rating for Ingress Protection

• IP65 relates to the ingress protection against dust and against water.

High Humidity: areas of very high humidity such as semi-outdoor warehouses are problematic for most industrial detectors.

Duty industrial Environments: Some industrial and production areas have a very high level of dust particles that can enter and impair the detector.

With WatchIN’s IP rating there are no issues with water or dust entering the detector.
